CHILDREN PROJECT
Another Life International is a multi –sectrol , non-government organization aimed at lifting the standard of living of our community by providing hope to the hopeless, food to the hungry, shelter to the homeless, and future to look unto. Another Life is a result of a young man which saw it fit to build the kingdom of God further by helping those in need after seeing the plight of the communities and the need to extend the hand of love to bring a smile on the faces of the underprivileged. Our main area of operation through the communities is the children welfare since most of them are orphaned, some have parents but imprisoned and others cannot afford to care and meet their needs SCOPE OF WORK
One of many challenges of this organization is to provide shelter to many children that we come across who need a home to stay with the parental guidance and care they deserve. The children ‘s project helps settle children who would opt for the street due to neglect, Lack of material provisions and parental love since most of their parents are either dead or incapacitated, with some cases of people serving prison sentences. We there fore provide a shoulder for these children to lean upon and reduce the side- effects of their traumatic experiences by providing them with an affordable home . EDUCTION
(If you cannot help many, at least you can help one). You are welcome to partner with us in this major cause of Africa. Do you know that God has appointed you a work o do? That is why He has left you alive, think about the millions that have died in natural disasters, accidents, diseases, hunger, etc but you my friend, God has spared you for a reason. To help us reach out to the hurting world through your support, contribution and any offer towards this major cause. You may be the one God has designed to usher one child into his/her God-ordained destiny. You can position yourself in this area and help one child to become somebody. When you make your decision, we will send you his/her profile with a photo. (I was hungry and you did not help me. I was thirsty and you didn’t quench my thirst…) God has left the poor in our midst so that He can give us an opportunity to be true co-workers with Him as we feed the hungry, and help the helpless generally. The other challenge in our homes is that of educating them and catering for their welfare. Due to the fact that all these children come from disadvantaged homes, free education is a necessity to provide them with a light to guide them as they grow. We therefore have managed to supplement this with our own teachers in the homes to avoid un necessary movement of children to and from the home. We hire the few teachers and some voluntary ones who often visit for a season to give a hand in the shaping of leaders of tomorrow. We have more than 500children who need your sponsorship and without you and me to sponsor these children to given them a better future there life is in danger, they are would from they childhood and the best we can offer them is education to help there wounds. HEALTH
The other aspect which require a great attention in this project is health. Most of the kids children due to lack of basic health care during their early childhood, have had several bouts of diseases that have also affected their lives. Being in tropical Africa, diseases like malaria are so rampant but we have been able to curb this by hiring the services of a al nurse who is readily available assisted by routine visits by a senior medical officer at least one every year. Many children are affected and infected with HIV/AIDS plus many other incurable disease. our strong is to continue fighting these incurable disease because it has left many children orphans. |

We feed and educate children for free, so that's why we need your support. HERE ARE SOME OF THE CHILDREN WHO DESERVE THE BEST IN LIFE, READ SOME OF THEIR STORIES. My names am called Nicholas Kasozi, an orphan boy aged 17 years, Rwandanese by nationality, but staying in Uganda as a refugee, my parents were slaughtered by the rebels during the genocide in Rwanda which took place in 1994. My two elder sisters were raped and slaughtered in front of me, thereafter our house was set on fire. It was my uncle who helped me even to escape to Uganda and he started to cater for my Education. Very sorrowfully my uncle died of HIV/AIDS in 2003 his death marked the actual beginning of my suffering and despair. As you know the effects of racism and tribalism, I was neglected so much till I appealed for help at Another Life International who accepted to support me in terms of food, clothes and some medical care, for two years until I get the sponsor, if I don’t get any sponsor within that time, they may drop from helping. Now my problem is lack of school fees to go back and study. So I need your help. My names am called Irene Nabukera, an orphan girls aged 15 years, Ugandan by nationality, my parents died during the insurgence in Northern uganda, it was when the rebels came and raped all of us, burnt the house down, took us as their wives, me and my sister the rest my father and mother were killing in front of us. We were taken to their camp and they divided us and gave us to their commanders as wives, it was recently that my sister was killed when she disobeyed the commander. When I realized that it was a matter of death and life one day when they went for war I escaped and ran away from them, I got one son and daughter altogether two children, one I got him when they raped me, and the second one I got her when I was give in as a commander’s wife. The first one I don’t know his father but the second one I know and I hard that her father was killed in the last attack which the government made. Until recently when I contacted this charity organization called Another Life International. They have given me some food clothes, and some treatment. I need your help, I don’t have where to stay, don’t have any job to take care of my children and my self. Please help me. |
Children without shelter have been give shelterOUR NEEDS Ø Orphanage Homes and Kindergarden a home and the school for the orphan ,abandoned, and abused child is very important and needful to a life of a child of that kind. Ø Children center, where children can go for recreation, entertainment, and sports. Ø A service van for the elderly and a Ambulance: This van is going to help us reach out to the needy youth in the villages and who are sick at the hour where no help can be given, the ambulance will always be there for them, at any time it can be used to take them back. And other administrative work for the youth. Ø Hospital for the youth: This hospital will meet the needs of the youth in the health sector, because many have HIV/AIDS and many other incurable disease counseling and free medical treatment will be received. Ø Music equipments, speakers, mixers, amplifiers, drums, keyboard, microphones, guitars e.t.c these equipments will help us to train the under privileged child who are talented in music. Ø Computers and projectors will help us in the training of any kind, since we have in our plans a program of computer training center we need so many computers Ø Video cameras and still photos are also very important to us because we have a to train the under privileged so that they can enjoy every opportunity in the world . Ø Studio equipments; we are planning to set up a recording studio for both video and audio because we have realized that people have talents and they can earn a living out of it Ø TV & Radio equipment This program we are planning to set up a television and radio station to work as an income generating activity for our work Ø Resource canter: This is going to be a place where people come and develop the reading skills and watch educative movies, you can donate books, movies etc Ø Agricultural equipments: since Uganda’s economy is based on agriculture, these equipment will help to provide food to the needy Ø Sponsor a child program: if you wish to sponsor a child we can send you all the information you need concerning this program.. Ø Home essentials, beds, mattress, blankets, bed sheets, food, and clothes. .

Education Sector( We have this small kindergarden, but the need is too big, so help us expanded it The kindergarden is for young children only it can't accommodate teenagers and youth who are in primary and secondary school plus university,even these youth are in need, so that's why we are requesting you to sponsor a child/youth for higher education.Lack of education has led African countries to too much poverty and lack,so many people are in need and can't afford sustaining themselves because of poverty.so we educate these orphans to create a bright future for them.Lets us join hands in this work. |

Let us help this kid to survive( imagine he is six years old) This child have been in this situation for six years no prograss and he needs immidiate action, please stand with us so that we can give this children hope. We also have a problem of street children These kids are always misunderstood by their parents because of not considering children's rights this lead them to look for safety in so doing they end up on streets and Others are orphans so they go looking for shelter.so thats why we are there to help these kids to become better people. |
